FUTURE PROJECTS

Year 2012 Construction

The following projects are proposed for construction in the 2012 construction season.
Various Bridges - (County Bridges 608, 611, 1203, 2005, 2704, & 3001) - These are bridge preservation projects consisting of repairs to structurally deficient bridges to remove them from the SD list.

Bridge 2113 - (South Foster Road, Jackson Township) - This bridge is proposed for repairs necessary to reopen the closed bridge. Plans are expected to be approved by PennDOT in late February, 2012

Year 2013 and beyond Construction

The following projects are anticipated to be under construction in the 2013 construction season and beyond.
Ohl Street Bridge - (County Bridge 803) - The existing bridge was built in 1909 and is currently closed. The firm of HDR has been selected for the design of this project. The preliminary design is progressing.

Mill Road Bridge - (County Bridge 1015) - This project consists of replacement of an 1885 era structure that currently carries a 4 ton weight restriction. The firm of SAI has been selected for design of this project. The preliminary design is progressing.

Race Street Bridge - (County Bridge 802) - The existing bridge was built in 1921. The firm of MS Coinsultants has been selected for design of the project. Preliminary design is progressing.

Kelly Road Bridge - (County Bridge 2304) - This structure is closed and the parallel bridge is posted for a 30-ton weight restriction, and is the only access to the Shenango Dam and recreation area. The firm of Gannett Fleming has been selected for design of the project. Preliminary design is progressing.

Redfoot Road Bridge - (County Bridge 1416) - This project is being designed in-house. A design consultant has been selected and price proposals are due in March.

Walnut Street Bridge - (County Bridge 1704) - This project is being designed in-house. A design consultant has been selected and price proposals are due in March.

Oak Hill Road Bridge - (County Bridge 2809) - A design consultant has been selected and price proposals are due in March.

Parker Road Bridge - (County Bridge 2116) - A design consultant has been selected and price proposals are due in March.
