BRIDGES FROM MERCER COUNTY'S PAST

Photographs from the bridge file archives of Mercer County bridges from the past.
Many of the old bridges were named after the adjacent property owners. The bridge below was known as the Alexander bridge. It was located on what is now Tait Road in Coolspring township, and was replaced in 1966.

The bridge below was known as the Clarks Mill bridge. It was located on what is now Lake Wilhelm road in Perry township, and was replaced in 1955.

The bridge below was known as the Woodling bridge. It was located on what is now South Cottage Road in Jackson township, and was replaced in 1981.

The bridge below was known as the Bortz bridge. It was located on what is now Lower Road in French Creek township, and was replaced in 1997.
