Other Projects

Bridge Closure and Removal Study Mercer County undertook a study to identify operationally redundant bridges that may be candidates for closure and removal.  This study will help identify how best to direct limited resources.  The study was completed in January, 2015. See the detail links on our home page. Since completion of the study, two bridges were transferred to township ownership and one was abandoned.
